Victoria Powell, Senior Fertility Nurse, RN

staffVictoria trained at St Bartholomew’s Hospital London and qualified as a registered nurse in 1996.  Her first two years of nursing were spent in women’s health working on general gynaecology and gynaecology oncology wards.  It was during this time that her interest in fertility nursing began.  Victoria worked at the Lister Fertility Clinic for nine years before joining the Agora in 2007. She says, “Having worked in a very busy London clinic one thing I really enjoy about working in a smaller clinic is you are able to give time to patients and a more individualised approach.  Whether the treatment is successful or not, helping patients through their fertility journey is extremely rewarding.  No day is ever the same but every day is satisfying and I feel extremely privileged to work as part of such a fantastic team.”
